WASHINGTON, DC – Today, The Collective PAC, the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political representation across all levels of government, proudly endorsed Alvin Bragg for Manhattan District Attorney. Founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement:

“Justice is on the ballot in municipal and statewide races across the country and today we are excited to endorse Alvin Bragg for Manhattan District Attorney. Elections for local prosecutors and judicial candidates play an important role in bringing transparency, accountability, and compassion to our broken legal system. The Collective PAC is proud to empower and stand with a changemaker like Alvin who will make our communities safer, restore balance to our legal system, and give a voice to the systemic inequities that have kept true justice out of reach for too many.”

Alvin Bragg is a longtime champion for workers’ and tenants’ rights and an advocate for accountability and equity in the legal system. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of New York, and Executive Deputy Attorney General for Social Justice, he will work to end mass incarceration, deliver justice for sexual assault survivors, and root out corruption once elected.
