Monday, March 1st, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, ahead of tomorrow’s primary election, Collective Future , the 501(c)4 affiliate of the nation’s largest organization dedicated to increasing Black political representation across all levels of government, announced a $25,000 digital ad campaign in support of St. Louis mayoral candidate Tishaura Jones. Digital ads targeting likely St. Louis voters have been running since February 26th. Quentin James, founder of Collective Future, released the following statement:

“As the current health crisis continues to lay bare our nation’s existing inequities, it is critical cities like St. Louis have experienced and compassionate leaders who are ready to take on these challenges from day one. From the statehouse to the treasurer’s office, Tishaura Jones has consistently proven herself to be the champion St. Louisans need. We are proud to stand with her once again in her historic bid to be the city’s first Black woman mayor. With the primary election around the corner, we’re confident that this five-figure investment will help ensure that Tishaura not only advances to the runoff, but becomes the next mayor of St. Louis.”
