The Collective PAC Congratulates Alvin Bragg on Winning his Primary Election for Manhattan District Attorney

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, The Collective PAC, the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation and power across all levels of government, congratulated Alvin Bragg on his primary election win for Manhattan (NY) District Attorney. Co-founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement: 

“Alvin Bragg is a changemaker who will work to make communities safer, restore balance to the legal system and give a voice to the systemic inequities that have kept true justice out of reach for too many in Manhattan. Justice is on the ballot in municipal and statewide races across the country and The Collective PAC is proud to stand with Alvin in his bid to become the borough’s next District Attorney as he advances to the general election on November 2nd.”

Alvin Bragg (candidate for Manhattan District Attorney, NY) is a longtime champion for workers’ and tenants’ rights and an advocate for accountability and equity in the legal system. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of New York and Executive Deputy Attorney General for Social Justice, Alvin will work to end mass incarceration, deliver justice for sexual assault survivors, and root out corruption once elected.
