WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government  —  congratulates Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes on his primary victory to represent Wisconsin in the United States Senate.

Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes is running to represent Wisconsin in the United States Senate. A native of Milwaukee, Lt. Governor Barnes serves as Wisconsin’s 45th Lieutenant Governor and is the first Black person to be elected to this office. As a Wisconsin State Senator, Mr. Barnes worked hard to create jobs through local investments with a focus on refunding public education and modernizing Wisconsin’s public transportation system. If elected, Lt. Governor Barnes will make history again, this time as the first Black U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.

Founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement:

“The Collective PAC is proud to congratulate Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes on his historic primary victory to represent Wisconsin in the U.S. Senate. Lt. Governor Barnes has the passion, drive, political knowledge, and overall understanding to lead Wisconsin into a new era of progress and prosperity. We are proud to once again make history with Lt.
