The Collective PAC Congratulates Our Endorsed Candidates in Kentucky On Their Primary Victories

Wednesday, May 18th, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government  —  congratulates our endorsed candidates in Kentucky on their primary victories.

  • Hon. Charles Booker is a graduate of the University of Louisville where he received both a bachelor’s and a law degree. He knows what it’s like to be homeless, hungry, and ration insulin. Those experiences have shaped him into the kind of leader that believes that the government should work for everyone, regardless of income or skin color. Mr. Booker, if elected in the fall, will make history as the first Black United States Senator from Kentucky.

  • Mr. Lamin Swann is running for Kentucky House District 93. If elected, Mr. Swann plans to raise teacher salaries and the minimum wage, and advocate for affordable healthcare and reproductive rights.
