The Collective PAC Congratulates Zachary Parker on His Primary Victory for D.C. City Council

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government, congratulates Zachary Parker on his primary victory for D.C. City Council.

 

  • Mr. Zachary Parker is running for D.C. City Council in Ward Five. Mr. Parker is an educator and currently serves as the President of the D.C. State Board of Education. Mr. Parker is a graduate of Northwestern University and received his Master’s Degree from Columbia University, Teachers College. Mr. Parker has invested and uplifted the community by establishing the Ward Five Education Equity Committee, Ward Five Back-To-School Supplies Giveaway, and many other programs. If elected, Mr. Parker plans to create a comprehensive plan for public safety, and invest in the community through educational and economic development opportunities.

The Collective PAC is strategically focused on creating a truly equitable democracy where our nation’s local, state, and federal governments have diverse and talented elected leadership and Black people are fully represented in positions of power to create the policies necessary to progress our communities forward.
