Tuesday, February 14th, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Collective PAC – the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government – endorsed Colonel Pamela Stevenson for Attorney General in Kentucky.

Colonel Pamela Stevenson is running for Attorney General in Kentucky. State Representative Stevenson formerly served as a Colonel in the United States Air Force for 27 years, specializing as a Judge Advocate General Corps attorney. In addition to her role as a lawmaker, she is an associate pastor at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and founder of the Stevenson Law Center, a nonprofit focusing on legal services for veterans. During her time in the state legislature, Col. Stevenson introduced legislation to restructure Kentucky’s Department of Veterans Affairs to assist homeless veterans and others without regular access to food. Due to her dedication to achieving fair access to legal services as well as her support for economical access to healthcare, education, food, and other necessities, Colonel Pam Stevenson has acquired the moniker “the people’s lawyer.”

Founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement:

“The Collective PAC is excited to endorse Colonel Pamela Stevenson in her historic bid to become the first Black woman Attorney General in Kentucky. Her dedication and unwavering drive to restore balance within government by curbing overreach and bridging the gap between divided communities make her the perfect candidate to serve all the people of Kentucky. With 39 years of legal experience at the local, state, federal and international levels, Col. Stevenson is one of the most qualified candidates to ever seek the office of Attorney General. If elected, she will work on behalf of every Kentuckian by advocating for federal resources that support local law enforcement and community organizations, protecting kids online, going after hate groups and violent extremists, and holding human traffickers and sexual predators accountable. The Collective PAC is proud to support Col. Pam Stevenson as she runs to become Ketucky’s top prosecutor.”
