The Collective PAC Endorses Courtney Cecelia Welch for City Council in Emeryville, California

WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, The Collective PAC — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation and power across all levels of government — endorsed Courtney Cecelia Welch for city council in Emeryville, California.

Ms. Welch is a strong progressive leader with a strong track record of supporting her community. Currently, Ms. Welch serves as the Director of Policy and Communications with the Bay Area Community Land Trust (BACLT) and leads a team to help create permanent affordable housing throughout the city. Before joining BACLT, Ms. Welch was a Continuum of Care Specialist with EveryOne Home, where she helped address homelessness in Alameda County. In addition, as an East Bay native and proud mother of two children, Ms. Welch continuously stays active in her community by serving on the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women and was appointed to the City of Emeryville’s housing committee.

The Collective PAC is proud to endorse Courtney Cecelia Welch for city council in Emeryville, California. Ms Welch has spent the majority of her career working to alleviate homelessness in her community and will continue to do so as a city council member. In addition to effectively addressing homelessness and affordable housing, Ms. Welch is also dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and community members while working to fight for working families. As a proven leader in her community, The Collective PAC is proud to stand with Courtney Cecelia Welch in her pursuit to progress Emeryville forward as a member of the city council.
