WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — congratulates Dr. Chris Jones on successfully winning his primary for Governor in Arkansas.
Dr. Chris Jones is running for Governor in Arkansas. He most recently served as the Executive Director of the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Arkansans by inspiring innovation and expanding opportunities. A seventh-generation son of Arkansas, Dr. Jones is a graduate of Morehouse College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he earned a degree in nuclear engineering and a Ph.D. in urban planning. Dr. Jones is a proud girl dad and husband to Dr. Jerriyln Jones, an emergency room doctor and Air Force veteran.

Dr. Jones is a dynamic leader committed to advancing equitable policies that will improve the lives of working families throughout the state. As a physicist, ordained minister, and nonprofit leader, Dr. Jones has seen firsthand the disparities that exist in Arkansas and will work diligently to bridge the rural and urban divide, strengthen infrastructure, expand broadband access and protect the right to vote. The Collective PAC is proud to stand with Dr. Chris Jones as he advances to the general election on November 8th.”
