The Collective PAC Endorses State Senator Adam Hollier & Ms. Iroghama Omere For the United States House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed State Senator Adam Hollier in Michigan and Ms. Iroghama Omere in Texas for the United States House of Representatives.

  • State Senator Adam Hollier is running to represent Michigan’s 13th Congressional District. State Senator Hollier currently serves Michigan’s Second State Senate District. He is a United States Army veteran, a volunteer firefighter, and a Cornell University graduate. During his first term, State Senator Hollier brought more than $13 million to the second district for community investments. If elected, State Senator Hollier aims to deliver better opportunities, affordable auto insurance, safer communities, and real investment to all Michigan neighborhoods.   

 

  • Ms. Iroghama Omere is running to represent Texas’ Fourth Congressional District. Ms. Omere was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and is a proud  Prairie View A&M University graduate. In 2012, she stepped away from her career in higher education to help alleviate the Texas teacher shortage and began teaching   STEM in inner-city schools. If elected, Ms. Omere aspires to advocate for high-impact education, stimulating economic growth, and increased access to affordable healthcare.

We are thrilled to champion these elected officials as they continue to build upon their legacies by creating safer and stronger communities and firecelessly advocating for voting rights. The Collective PAC Endorses Representative Michele Rayner For Re-Election in Florida

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed Representative Michele Rayner  re-election in Florida.

  • State Representative Michele Rayner is running for the Florida House of Representatives in District 62. She currently represents District 70 in the Florida House of Representatives. State Rep. Rayner is a civil rights and social justice attorney who made history in 2020 when she became the first openly queer Black member of the Florida legislature. If re-elected to the state house, State Rep. Rayner wants to continue to serve her community as a leader ensuring equitable recovery from COVID, protecting voting rights, and demanding real justice for the underserved.

The Collective PAC Endorses Jamie Johnson For the Missouri House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed Jamie Johnson for the Missouri House of Representatives.

Ms. Jamie Johnson is running for the Missouri House of Representatives in District 12. Ms. Johnson attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Planning and Design and Master’s in Organizational Development Psychology, and a certification in Executive Leadership Coaching from Avila University. Currently, she serves as the Vice-Chair of the Platte County Democratic Central Committee and sits on the board of directors for the Community Action Agency of Greater Kansas City. If elected, Ms. Johnson plans to enact legislation that will fully fund public education, support veterans, and common-sense gun laws.

The Collective PAC Endorses State Representative Cedrick Frazier For the Minnesota House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed State Representative Cedrick Frazier for the Minnesota House of Representatives.

State Representative Cedrick Frazier is running to represent the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 43A. State Rep. Frazier currently serves District 45A in the Minnesota House of Representatives. During his first term, he served as the Vice-Chair of the Public Safety Committee and was a member of the Education Policy Committee. State Rep. Frazier successfully wrote and sponsored House File 2900, which not only recognizes but rewards frontline workers for their service and dedication in the pandemic. If elected, State Rep. Frazier plans to continue to advocate for economic development, expand worker’s rights, sponsor affordable healthcare legislation such as the Minnesota Health Plan, and continue to invest in education and public safety.

The Collective PAC Endorses A Slate of Candidates for State & Local Races In Maryland

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed  a slate of candidates for state and local races in Maryland.

  • Mrs. Ladetra Robinson is running for Maryland State Delegate in District Two B. Mrs. Robinson has spent nearly 20 years in the United States government, with stints in the Department of Treasury and the Department of Agriculture. She currently serves as a crisis counselor in Washington County, where she assists the unhoused and low-income communities. Additionally, Mrs. Robinson serves as an advocate for women in Washington County. If elected, she aspires to increase public safety, and invest in workforce development and economic development.  

 

  • Rev. Marguerite Morris is running for Maryland State Delegate in District 33A. Rev. Morris has over 25 years of experience in advocating for women and children in crisis, victims of human trafficking, and fighting against police brutality. If elected, Rev. Morris aspires to continue to advocate for the community and fight against social injustices on a higher level in government.  

 

  • Delegate Jazz Lewis is running for re-election to the Maryland House of Representatives in District 24. He has sponsored and supported legislation to expand access to healthcare, passed tax credits to incentivize grocery stores in food deserts, and supported new opportunities for young people. Before becoming a delegate in 2017, Del. Lewis worked as a community organizer in Baltimore, where he learned the power of collective action and the importance of cultivating personal relationships within a movement. He took what he learned as an organizer and worked to elect candidates up and down the ballot that brought together people of all backgrounds to promote a better and more inclusive Maryland.

 

  • Ms. Crystal Francis is running for Baltimore County Council in District Five. Ms. Francis currently works as the Assistant Director of Program Management for Georgetown University Pivot Program, assisting with economic independence and opportunities for returning citizens through education, employment, and entrepreneurship.  Before working with the Pivot Program, she served as a bipartisan public policy expert at the United States Social Security Administration. If elected, Ms. Francis plans to rally support for local businesses, advocate for accessible broadband, and increase community engagement. 


  • Mrs. Eve Shuman is running for Prince George’s County Council in District Three. Mrs. Shuman graduated with honors with a Dual Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law and History from Binghamton University, and a Law Degree from Cornell Law School. She answered the call of public service in 2016 and joined Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign, and later served as a caseworker for United States Senator Chris Van Hollen. If elected, Mrs. Shuman plans to advocate for accessible childcare, stimulating the economy through local business, and infrastructure. 


  • Mr. John D.B. Carr is running for Prince George’s County Sheriff. Mr. Carr has 20 years of law enforcement experience with the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff. He has served in several supervisory positions including in the Warrants and Fugitive Division, Domestic Violence Intervision Division, and Internal Affairs Division.  Mr. Carr currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, serving as one of three Assisting Sheriffs, and commands the Bureau of Field Operations. If elected, he plans to invest in mental health programs, expand community outreach, and fight to end domestic violence.

 

  • State Senator Will Smith is running for re-election to the Maryland State Senate in District 20. State Senator Smith is a lawyer and a United States Navy Reserve officer. He specializes in national security and employment discrimination. During his tenure,  State Senator Smith has sponsored the CROWN Act, ending discrimination against hair texture and hairstyles, and the HOME Act, ending house discrimination based on one legal source of income. If re-elected, he plans to keep advocating for equity in education, defending voting rights, and expanding economic opportunities.
