The Collective PAC Congratulates Stacey Abrams On Primary Victory in Georgia

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC  — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government  —  congratulates Stacey Abrams on her primary victory in Georgia.

Ms. Stacey Abrams is running for Governor in Georgia. Ms. Abrams is a seasoned legislator, activist, and national political leader, she has spent the last few years establishing and leading Fair Fight Action, an organization to assist Democrats in building voter protection teams in 20 states for the 2020 presidential election cycle. Ms. Abrams has advocated for over 500,000 Georgians for Medicaid expansion and has created jobs for over 60,000. Ms. Abrams has been largely credited with helping to register 800,000 new voters in Georgia. As governor, she will help improve the quality of life for all residents and make strategic investments to strengthen the state.

Ms. Abrams has the proven track record to become the first Black woman governor of Georgia, and is a fierce advocate for affordable health care, education and criminal justice reform and protections for small farms and businesses. The Collective PAC is proud to support Stacey Abrams’ historic candidacy to become the first Black woman to serve as governor of the Peach State as she advances to the general election on November 8th.”
