WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, The Collective PAC — the nation’s largest political action committee dedicated to increasing Black political engagement, representation, and power across all levels of government — endorsed Morgan Harper to represent Ohio in the United States Senate.

Morgan Harper is a consumer protection attorney and an active community organizer. Ms. Harper received her Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, a Master of Arts degree from Princeton University, and her Juris Doctorate from Stanford University. Currently, she is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the American Economic Liberties Project, a non-profit dedicated to dissolving corporate monopolies. Ms. Harper believes in uplifting the community and creating an accessible lifestyle; she co-founded Columbus Stand Up!, a community organization that thrives from volunteers across Central Ohio delivering facial masks, rides to polls and vaccine appointments. She is invested in innovative policy proposals, universal healthcare, childcare, and education and equity. If elected, Ms. Harper will be the first Black woman to be elected statewide and the first Black Senator from Ohio.

Founders of The Collective PAC, Quentin James and Stefanie Brown James, released the following statement:

“The Collective PAC is proud to endorse Morgan Harper to represent Ohio in the United States Senate. Ms. Harper’s passion to empower the communities of Ohio enables her to push for accessible healthcare and childcare, ending the wealth gap, and continuing to dismantle corporate monopolies. From her work during the Obama administration, where Ms. Harper served as a Senior Advisor at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, to her dedication to community organizing, she has the passion and experience to give power back to communities across Ohio. The Collective PAC is excited to support Morgan Harper, and looks forward to helping her make history in the Buckeye state.”
